Photos from my week in Switzerland are up in the gallery. I had a great time during my short visit. I cycled from Basel to Schaffhausen along Rhine Route 2 and then down to Zurich (where the bike was returned). I don’t know how many other countries have a similar scheme, but in Switzerland you can hire a bike from most major train stations and return it at a different station. (It’s not cheap though!)
All in all I spent one day in Schaffhausen, two days in Zurich, two days in Lausanne and one day in Basel. Thanks to Karin, Michael and Nic for putting me up and showing me around during my stay.
